It is without hesitation and with much excitement and pleasure, that I announce a NEW PARTNERSHIP, an AFFILIATION, and a NEW MERGER on behalf of Mass Elite!

THE PARTNERSHIP: Paula Evans, founder - and Leslie Frank, of Westwood; will now be the Co-Owners of the Mass Elite Lacrosse and AchieveLax Organizations. Leslie and I are very excited and stimulated to get things off and running! We have known each other since Leslie and I started our youth lacrosse programs in 1997, and from then on have mutually felt and believed that the lacrosse players in Massachusetts deserve the best of the best, and that is what we will continue to stay focused on throughout our adventure! It was without doubt that we choose to join as one force not only for the Mass Elite players but for all players in both the Mass Elite and AchieveLax Programs. With the growth of the lacrosse rapidly expanding each year this will now enable us to continue to offer the best programs, coaches and opportunities to ALL players.

AFFILIATION: Mass Elite will be recognized as the Club Affiliation to the AchieveLax Organization, now owned and managed by partners, Paula Evans and Leslie Frank. Leslie and I are very excited about this opportunity and to be able to continue to offer a variety of lacrosse programs throughout the year. AchieveLax will offer various programs to girls, boys and adults at The Canton Sportsplex located in Canton, MA. We will be announcing these programs this spring at www.achievelax.com as well as the Mass Elite Web site. We look forward to getting things up and running smoothly! As of March 2004, Paula Evans is no longer affiliated with Max Lax Lacrosse.

THE MERGER: We are excited to announce the merger of Mass Elite with the IAS Select Organization from Western Massachusetts. Jeff Coulson, Director of IAS Select, Paula and Leslie have been colleagues for many years and it is exciting for us to join forces with our Clubs as a “MASS ELITE/IAS SELECT TEAM.” We all agree it will give more opportunity, growth, and energy to the Mass Elite Corporation and we look forward to this expansion and to offer many more opportunities to many more players!

The Mass Elite/IAS Select Team will be directed by Jeff Coulson and practices will be open to all Club members. A few words from Jeff: “After years of getting to know Paula Evans, and the Mass Elite teams and organization, I am delighted that we have merged. We encourage you to ask questions as we continue to work on the merger. This will help us clarify and create the finest program in New England, if not the entire country! There is no question in my mind that this will afford you (the players) far greater opportunities in the sport of lacrosse.”

IAS Select will still function as a team, but with this merger, players are now able to have far greater opportunities. If, at any time, IAS Select is unable to field a team, you will have the opportunity to play with a Mass Elite team, and/or visa versa. Players will also be able to practice at any site, regardless of whether it is a Mass Elite practice or IAS Select practice. We are coordinating practices now so that they occur on different days, thus allowing players more choices.
