Challenge, Opportunity and Reaching Excellence
An interscholastic spring lacrosse league for
girls teams in grades seven and eight.
Attention players and teams looking for a
more competitive level of lacrosse!
C.O.R.E. Lacrosse Leagues are for players that want to play more competitively and to be challenged by other competitive teams. This is an opportunity for that player who currently excels in her town program and wants to work even harder trying to reach her potential for excellence. C.O.R.E Lacrosse Leagues will begin with a small group of teams and play during the months of March, April and May on Saturday’s, location TBD, we are looking to rotate with Braintree and Waltham.
The league format will consist of 6 sessions: a dynamic warm-up, clinic, and a game each week. C.O.R.E will offer clinics with the Mass Elite coaching staff and players for any team that would like to participate.
C.O.R.E will offer:
- A 6-week spring game schedule and look to extend that to include a fall schedule…
- Field permitting, staffing and management of the league
Officials which will follow Level A US Lacrosse rules which include modified checking
- League reversible
- C.O.R.E will give a very cool t-shirt to each player and coach for bragging rights
Team requirements:
- A completed roster with a min of 16 to a max of 22 players, including a goal keeper.
- A coach and a team contact to communicate information such as scheduling, special events, uniforms etc… coaches are required to attend games each week, manage and select team rosters.

We will expect that each player continues to play for their town team (MBYLL or SSLL) along with CORE. We would recommend that players chosen by their coaches will have prior experience and are aware that the environment will be challenging. Teams who have expressed interest and commitment are Mass Elite, Duxbury, Walpole, Needham, Westford, Norwell, Medfield, Acton Boxbough and Westwood. We are looking for a ten-twelve team schedule. An INFORMATIONAL email will go out after field permits are approved, plan on mid February.
